Fasenra® (benralizumab)
for Asthma

Fasenra (benralizumab) is an injectable monoclonal antibody used as an add-on treatment for severe eosinophilic asthma in adults and children aged 6 and older, as well as eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA) in adults. It works by targeting eosinophils, a type of white blood cell involved in inflammation, by binding to interleukin-5 receptor alpha (IL-5Ra) and enhancing natural killer cell activity to eliminate eosinophils.
