Filsuvez® (birch triterpenes)
for Epidermolysis Bullosa
Filsuvez (birch triterpenes) is a topical gel used to treat partial thickness wounds associated with dystrophic and junctional epidermolysis bullosa in patients aged six months and older. The exact mechanism of action is unknown, but it contains triterpenes extracted from the bark of silver and downy birch, which may aid in wound healing.
