Evomela® (melphalan)

Evomela (melphalan) is used to treat multiple myeloma. It is also used as a conditioning treatment before stem cell transplant in multiple myeloma patients. Melphalan is an alkylating agent that works by interfering with the growth of cancer cells, slowing or stopping their spread so the body can destroy them. It helps prepare the body for transplant by reducing cancer cells in the bone marrow.
