Apokyn® (apomorphine hydrochloride injection)
for Parkinson’s Disease

Apokyn (apomorphine hydrochloride injection) is used to treat "wearing-off" episodes in people with advanced Parkinson's disease, characterized by muscle stiffness and loss of control. This medication works by mimicking the effects of dopamine, a chemical naturally found in the brain that is deficient in people with Parkinson’s disease. Apokyn is a dopamine agonist, and it is administered through a subcutaneous injection to help manage Parkinson’s symptoms.
