Opfolda® (miglustat)
for Pompe Disease
Opfolda (miglustat) is an enzyme stabilizer used to treat late-onset Pompe disease in adults. Taken in combination with Pombiliti (cipaglucosidase alfa-atga) infusion, Opfolda enhances Pombiliti's effectiveness. It stabilizes and protects Pombiliti in the bloodstream, ensuring it remains active in the cells to break down excess glycogen. Without Opfolda, Pombiliti becomes inactive, reducing its effectiveness. When used together, Opfolda helps maintain Pombiliti's potency for treating the condition.
