Sotyktu (deucravacitinib) is a once-daily tablet used to treat moderate to severe plaque psoriasis by improving scaling, redness, and reducing thickened areas on the skin and scalp. It works by blocking the protein tyrosine kinase 2 (TYK2), which reduces inflammation and immune pathways responsible for psoriasis. By inhibiting TYK2, Sotyktu decreases the activity of IL-23 and IL-17, helping to clear psoriasis plaques and improve skin appearance.
