Oracea® (doxycycline)
for Rosacea
Oracea (doxycycline) is used to treat blemishes, bumps, and acne-like lesions caused by rosacea in adults. As a tetracycline antibiotic, it helps reduce skin inflammation associated with rosacea. Although tetracyclines are commonly used for infections, Oracea is specifically formulated to decrease inflammation in the skin, improving the appearance and symptoms of rosacea without being evaluated for infection treatment or prevention.
