Lonsurf® (trifluridine and tipiracil)
for Gastric Cancer Stomach Cancer
Lonsurf (trifluridine and tipiracil) is an oral combination tablet used to treat metastatic colorectal cancer and metastatic gastric or gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma in adults who have received prior chemotherapy. Trifluridine integrates into cancer cell DNA to inhibit growth, while tipiracil prevents its breakdown, prolonging its effectiveness. Lonsurf can be used alone or with bevacizumab to help slow cancer progression.
