Pancreatic Cancer

Pancreatic cancer starts as abnormal cell growth in the pancreas, an organ behind the stomach that aids digestion and blood sugar regulation. The most common form is pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, which begins in the cells lining the ducts that release digestive enzymes. Pancreatic cancer is often diagnosed at advanced stages, making it harder to treat, as it typically doesn't cause symptoms until it has spread to other organs.
