Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension PAH

Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is a condition where the small blood vessels in the lungs narrow, reducing blood flow. This increases blood pressure in the pulmonary arteries, which carry oxygen-poor blood from the heart to the lungs. Over time, the heart has to work harder, weakening it. If left untreated, PAH can lead to serious complications in the heart, lungs, and the rest of the body.
