Renal Cell Carcinoma RCC

Kidney cancer occurs when abnormal cells grow in the kidneys, which are located behind the abdominal organs. Symptoms can include flank pain, high blood pressure, and blood in the urine. The most common type in adults is renal cell carcinoma, while Wilms tumor affects young children. Kidney cancer is most often diagnosed in people aged 65 to 74, with men being twice as likely to develop it as women. It is also more common in Native American and Black populations.
