Seizures (including Epilepsy)

A seizure is a sudden burst of electrical activity in the brain that can lead to changes in behavior, movements, feelings, and consciousness. Seizures vary in appearance, lasting from a few seconds to a couple of minutes. They can be caused by factors like blood sugar changes, illness, injury, or underlying conditions. Seizures can happen once or multiple times, and their types depend on where they start in the brain and how they spread. If a seizure lasts longer than five minutes, it's a medical emergency.
