Aciphex® (rabeprazole sodium)
for Gastroesophageal reflux disease

AcipHex (rabeprazole sodium) is a proton pump inhibitor that reduces stomach acid production. It is used short-term to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) in adults and children aged one year and older. In adults, AcipHex also treats conditions involving excessive stomach acid, such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and promotes healing of duodenal ulcers or erosive esophagitis caused by stomach acid.
