Adcirca® (tadalafil)

Adcirca (tadalafil) is used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension and improve exercise capacity in men and women. It works by blocking the enzyme phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE5), which normally prevents the relaxation of muscle cells in blood vessels. By inhibiting PDE5, Adcirca helps relax blood vessel muscles, increasing blood flow, lowering blood pressure in the lungs, and reducing strain on the heart.
