Admelog (insulin lispro) is a fast-acting insulin that lowers blood sugar levels. It begins working within 15 minutes of injection, peaks around 1 hour, and remains effective for 2 to 4 hours. Admelog is used to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes and in adults and children (aged 3 and older) with type 1 diabetes.
