Alphagan P (brimonidine tartrate) is a prescription eye drop used to reduce intraocular pressure in individuals with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. It works by decreasing fluid production in the eye while increasing fluid drainage, helping to lower eye pressure and reduce the risk of nerve damage and vision loss. Alphagan P is suitable for adults and children as young as 2 years old.
