Aphexda® (motixafortide)
for Multiple Myeloma

Aphexda (motixafortide) is used in adults with multiple myeloma to increase circulating stem cells before stem cell transplant. It is a hematopoietic stem cell mobilizer used with filgrastim (a G-CSF). Aphexda blocks the CXCR4 receptor, helping release more stem cells into the bloodstream for collection. It belongs to a class of medicines called CXCR4 antagonists.
