Avastin (bevacizumab) is an antiangiogenic agent used with chemotherapy to treat several cancers, including colorectal, lung, brain, kidney, cervical, and ovarian cancers. It is also combined with atezolizumab for advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Avastin slows tumor growth by inhibiting blood vessel formation.
