Ayvakit® (avapritinib)
for Gastrointestinal stromal tumor
Ayvakit (avapritinib) is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor used to treat adults with certain types of gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) and systemic mastocytosis (SM). It targets specific genetic mutations, including PDGFRA exon 18 mutations in GIST and KIT D816V mutations in systemic mastocytosis, helping to inhibit abnormal cell growth and reduce disease progression.
