Balversa® (erdafitinib)
for Urothelial Cancer
Balversa (erdafitinib) is an oral kinase inhibitor used to treat adults with locally advanced or metastatic urothelial cancer (bladder cancer) that cannot be removed by surgery. It is used when the cancer carries a specific abnormal FGFR gene and has not responded to other systemic therapies. Balversa works by inhibiting FGFR, a protein involved in cell signaling and survival, which is present in both tumor and healthy cells, helping to slow the growth of cancer cells.
