Bkemv™ (eculizumab-aeeb)
for Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria
Bkemv (eculizumab-aeeb) is a biosimilar to Soliris used to treat paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH) in adults and children, inhibit complement-mediated thrombotic microangiopathy (TMA) in atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome (aHUS), and treat generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG) in adults who are anti-acetylcholine receptor antibody positive. It works by blocking complement protein C5 to prevent cell rupture and inflammation, potentially lowering immune defense against infections.
