Follistim® AQ (follitropin beta)

Follistim AQ (follitropin beta) is a man-made hormone that regulates ovulation and stimulates egg development in women. It is used to treat infertility in women who cannot ovulate but is not effective in women with primary ovarian failure. In men, Follistim AQ stimulates sperm production but is not effective in those with primary testicular failure. Often used with human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), Follistim AQ helps stimulate healthy ovaries or testes to promote egg or sperm production.
