Granix® (tbo-filgrastim)
for Neutropenia
Granix (tbo-filgrastim) is a man-made version of a protein that stimulates the production of white blood cells, which help fight infections. It is used to reduce the duration of severe neutropenia caused by chemotherapy with certain cancer medications. Granix is for use in adults and children at least 1 month old and helps increase white blood cell production in individuals whose ability to make these cells is reduced, such as due to chemotherapy or radiation exposure.
