Hyqvia (Immune Globulin Infusion 10% (Human) with Recombinant Human Hyaluronidase) combines immune globulin and hyaluronidase to treat primary immunodeficiency in adults. Hyaluronidase helps the body absorb the injected immune globulin, which contains IgG antibodies from healthy human plasma to protect against infections. Immune globulin is also used to treat chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP), a nerve disorder causing weakness and numbness in the arms and legs.
