Inlyta (axitinib) is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor used to treat advanced kidney cancer (renal cell carcinoma). It is often given when at least one prior cancer treatment has not worked or has stopped working. Axitinib works by slowing or stopping the growth of cancer cells.
