Journavx® (suzetrigine)

Journavx (suzetrigine) is a non-opioid pain-relieving tablet used to treat short-term (acute) moderate to severe pain. It works by blocking sodium channels (NaV1.8) on pain-sensing nerve cells, preventing pain signals from reaching the spinal cord and brain. Since it does not affect the brain, Journavx has no addictive potential, unlike opioids. This sodium channel blocker provides pain relief without the risk of addiction associated with other pain treatments.
