Juxtapid® (lomitapide)
for Cholesterol-Hyperlipidemia

Juxtapid (lomitapide) is used with diet and other treatments to lower LDL (“bad”) cholesterol, total cholesterol, and fats in people with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (HoFH), a rare inherited disorder. It is not for use in people without HoFH. Juxtapid works by slowing cholesterol production in the body, helping reduce buildup in the arteries and lowering the risk of blocked blood flow.
