Korlym® (mifepristone)
for Cushing Syndrome
Korlym (mifepristone) is used to manage high blood sugar (hyperglycemia) in adults with Cushing's syndrome who also have type 2 diabetes or glucose intolerance. It works by blocking cortisol, the stress hormone, to reduce its effects on blood sugar levels. Korlym is not intended for treating type 2 diabetes unrelated to Cushing’s syndrome.
