Kyprolis® (carfilzomib)
for Multiple Myeloma

Kyprolis (carfilzomib) is used to treat relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma when other treatments no longer work. Kyprolis is a proteasome inhibitor that blocks the breakdown of damaged proteins in cells. This causes a buildup of abnormal proteins in cancer cells, leading to their death. Kyprolis helps slow cancer spread and is a targeted therapy for multiple myeloma, a cancer of plasma cells.
