Leqvio® (inclisiran)
for Cholesterol-Hyperlipidemia

Leqvio (inclisiran) is used in adults with primary hyperlipidemia to lower LDL-C ("bad" cholesterol) alongside diet changes. It works by blocking the production of PCSK9, a protein that reduces the number of receptors on liver cells that remove LDL-C from the blood. By using small interfering RNA (siRNA) technology, Leqvio increases these receptors, enhancing LDL-C removal in a unique way compared to other PCSK9 blockers.
