Mekinist® (trametinib)
for Lung Cancer

Mekinist (trametinib) is a kinase inhibitor used alone or with dabrafenib (Tafinlar) to treat certain types of melanoma, NSCLC, thyroid cancer, solid tumors (in adults and children 6+), and glioma (in children 1+). It works by blocking abnormal proteins that signal cancer cell growth. Mekinist is used when cancer has spread, surgery isn’t an option, or to help prevent cancer from returning after surgery.
