Natpara (parathyroid hormone) is a lab-made form of parathyroid hormone used with calcium and vitamin D to treat hypocalcemia (low blood calcium) in people with low parathyroid hormone levels. It’s typically prescribed when calcium and vitamin D alone are not effective.
