Nexletol® (bempedoic acid)
for Cholesterol-Hyperlipidemia

Nexletol (bempedoic acid) is an oral medication used to lower LDL ("bad") cholesterol in adults with high cholesterol or to reduce the risk of heart attacks and procedures in those with or at high risk for heart disease. It blocks ACL, a liver enzyme that helps make cholesterol. Nexletol is used with diet and other cholesterol-lowering treatments or alone when statins aren't suitable, including in cases of primary hyperlipidemia or HeFH.
