Nexlizet® (bempedoic acid and ezetimibe)
for Cholesterol-Hyperlipidemia

Nexlizet (bempedoic acid and ezetimibe) is used with diet to lower LDL-C in adults with primary hyperlipidemia, including HeFH. It can be used alone or with other cholesterol-lowering therapies, including statins. Bempedoic acid reduces cholesterol production in the liver, while ezetimibe decreases cholesterol absorption in the intestine. Together, they help lower LDL-C levels, especially in those who can't take statins.
