Ngenla (somatrogon-ghla) is a long-acting human growth hormone used to treat growth failure in children aged 3 and older with growth hormone deficiency (GHD). It works by binding to growth hormone receptors in the liver, muscles, bones, and other tissues, stimulating the production of insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1), which promotes bone growth and regulates metabolism.
