Oxybutynin reduces muscle spasms in the bladder and urinary tract. It is used to treat overactive bladder symptoms, including frequent or urgent urination, incontinence (urine leakage), and increased night-time urination. Oxybutynin is also used in children aged 5 and older with overactive bladder related to spina bifida.
