Quviviq (daridorexant) is a prescription medicine used to treat insomnia in adults who have trouble falling or staying asleep. It works by blocking orexin, a brain chemical that promotes wakefulness. By preventing orexin from binding to its receptors, Quviviq helps the brain relax and prepare for sleep. It belongs to a class of drugs called orexin antagonists.
