Reblozyl® (luspatercept-aamt)
for Myelodysplastic Syndromes

Reblozyl (luspatercept-aamt) is used to treat anemia in patients with beta-thalassemia or myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS). Reblozyl is classified as an erythroid maturation agent. It works by targeting and blocking molecules that inhibit the proper maturation of red blood cells (RBCs), allowing them to mature correctly. This helps address ineffective erythropoiesis (the process of RBC development) in these conditions, increasing RBC counts and reducing the need for blood transfusions.
