Repatha® (evolocumab)
for Myocardial Infarction Prevention
Repatha (evolocumab) is an injectable medicine used with diet, alone or with other therapies, to lower LDL cholesterol in adults and children 10+ with primary hyperlipidemia, including HeFH and HoFH. It also reduces the risk of heart attack, stroke, chest pain requiring hospitalization, and certain heart surgeries in adults with cardiovascular disease. Repatha blocks PCSK9, helping the liver remove more LDL from the blood by preserving LDL receptors.
