Rezdiffra® (resmetirom)
for Nonalcoholic steatohepatitis

Rezdiffra (resmetirom) is a THR-beta agonist used to treat nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) in adults with moderate to advanced liver fibrosis but not decompensated cirrhosis. It works by binding to thyroid hormone receptor-beta (THR-beta) in liver tissue, reducing fat accumulation in the liver. This helps lower triglyceride levels and may slow the progression of liver damage caused by NASH, which leads to inflammation and fibrosis.
