Roctavian® (valoctocogene roxaparvovec-rvox)
for Hemophilia

Roctavian (valoctocogene roxaparvovec-rvox) is a one-time gene therapy for adults with severe hemophilia A who test negative for antibodies to AAV5. It uses a modified virus as a vector to deliver a functional factor VIII gene to liver cells, enabling the body to produce its own clotting factor. This helps blood clot and reduces bleeding. The vector lacks viral DNA and does not replicate or cause disease.
