for Glaucoma
Simbrinza (brinzolamide and brimonidine tartrate) is an ophthalmic suspension used to lower intraocular pressure (IOP) in individuals with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. It combines brinzolamide, a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor, and brimonidine, an alpha agonist, both of which reduce fluid production in the eye. By decreasing fluid buildup, Simbrinza helps lower IOP, reducing the risk of optic nerve damage and vision loss.
