Vyjuvek® (beremagene geperpavec-svdt)
for Epidermolysis Bullosa
Vyjuvek (beremagene-geperpavec-svdt) is a topical gene therapy gel used to promote wound healing in patients aged six months and older with dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa (DEB). It is designed for individuals with mutations in the COL7A1 gene, which leads to a deficiency of the COL7 protein, essential for skin structure. Vyjuvek works by delivering functional COL7A1 genes directly to DEB skin wounds.
