Xgeva® (denosumab)
for Multiple Myeloma
Xgeva (denosumab) is a monoclonal antibody used to prevent bone fractures and related conditions in people with multiple myeloma and bone metastases. It is also used to treat giant cell bone tumor in adults and teens, high calcium levels caused by cancer, and osteoporosis in postmenopausal women and men at high fracture risk. Xgeva is used when other medications like pamidronate or zoledronic acid are ineffective. It also helps prevent bone problems in cancer patients undergoing specific treatments.
