Zynyz® (retifanlimab-dlwr)
for Skin Cancer

Zynyz (retifanlimab-dlwr) is used to treat Merkel cell carcinoma in adults. It is a PD-1-blocking antibody (immune checkpoint inhibitor) that works by binding to the PD-1 protein on immune T-cells, preventing its interaction with PD-L1, a protein found on some cancer cells. Blocking this interaction removes the "brakes" on the immune system, allowing it to target and attack cancer cells more effectively.
