Invega Hafyera® (paliperidone palmitate)
for Schizophrenia
Invega Hafyera (paliperidone palmitate) is used to treat schizophrenia in adults and administered as an injection every 6 months. It is for patients who have been adequately treated with monthly or quarterly paliperidone palmitate extended-release injectable suspensions. As a second-generation (atypical) antipsychotic, Invega Hafyera works by balancing brain chemicals, serotonin and dopamine, which affect thoughts and mood, helping manage schizophrenia symptoms.
