Xtandi® (enzalutamide)
for Prostate Cancer
Xtandi (enzalutamide) is an androgen receptor inhibitor used to treat prostate cancers that no longer respond to hormone therapy or surgery. It works by blocking androgens, male hormones, helping control cancer growth and reduce tumor size. Xtandi is also used for prostate cancer that has spread to other parts of the body and responds to treatments lowering testosterone. It can also be used for patients at high risk of cancer spreading, even if the cancer has not yet spread.
