Orgovyx (relugolix) is a prescription medication used to treat advanced prostate cancer in adult men. Taken once daily, it lowers testosterone levels, which helps slow or stop the spread of prostate cancer cells that rely on testosterone for growth. Orgovyx works by blocking GnRH receptors in the pituitary gland, reducing luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) production, which ultimately decreases testosterone levels in the body.
