Yonsa® (abiraterone acetate)
for Prostate Cancer

Yonsa (abiraterone acetate) is used with a steroid. prednisone or methylprednisolone, to treat metastatic prostate cancer that cannot be treated with surgery or other medicines. Abiraterone works by blocking the CYP17 enzyme, which is essential for making androgens (hormones that help prostate cancer cells grow). By lowering androgen levels, Yonsa helps shrink the tumor and slow cancer growth.
